New products?

Okay, so this didn't quite fit into grub garage or daily living so I posted it here.

As a blind person, it seems like I never hear about new products and/or new foods. So, I thought that maybe if we listed new things out here, as we find out about them, it might help others to know about them as well.

Although these items might not be considered "new" by some, they may be new to someone else.

If you are going to post an item out here, however, please let us know where you are at so that someone in the U.S.(for example) isn't looking for something that is only found in England.

This week I found out about:

Eggo waffles - strawberry
eggo pancakes - blueberry
Hershey cookies
Piggies in a biscuit.....LOL! This is an actual item. It looks like a corn dog but is a smoked sausage wrapped in a biscuit. There are 2 different types:
1. smoked sausage with cheddar cheese wrapped in a cheddar cheese biscuit
2. smoked sausage wrapped in a maple flavored biscuit.

I've tried the strawberry waffles and the hershey cookies and they are good. I will let you know about the others when I find out.

Oh, and I almost forgot....

The original McDonald land cookies are back. They taste sort of like animal crackers and are in the shape of Ronald McDonald's head and stuff like that. They are just as good as they were when I was a kid.

Good idea, Kathy. Here in the states, we may have another problem with regional specialties and stores. I'm thinking in particualr of the Giant brand of grape juice. This is sold here at Giant grocery stores in the mid-atlantic U.S. Their grape juice tastes better to me than Welch's. Thanks for starting this thread.

Kathy, this is an excellent idea.

It's not an actual product (so if it's disqualified, I apologize in advance), but MyCoffeeSupply.com supplies coffee and related accessories to businesses and end-users. There is a $25 order minimum, but I've found a few products I'd previously believed were banished to retail heaven.

Jim, It doesn't have to be an actual product, just as long s it is something that others might not know about.
Lou, you have a very good point about the regional stuff but hopefully we won't run into the problem very often

I have recently been told about 2 other items:
eggo waffles - cinnamon
eggo waffles - chocolate chip

The piggies in a biscuit (which I mentioned in the first post) were not bad. We tried the cheddar cheese ones.
